As we had previously announced, our AILA Ohio Chapter Meeting will take place on Wednesday April 20, 2016 in Cincinnati, Ohio. It will start at 3:00 p.m. at the Cincinnati Offices of Thompson Hine, located at 312 Walnut Street, 14th Floor, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202. We will be pleased to have our Chapter Chair Stacy Cozart attending this event in Cincinnati.
Cincinnati FOD Wegner will be in attendance, to address any questions that have been submitted to Blake Somers in advance from the Chapter for submission and review by FOD Wegner. We are also lucky enough to have Staci Jenkins, of Thompson Hine, who has graciously agreed to present a one hour CLE program, free of charge, which would cover hot topics in employment-based immigration. The Ohio Supreme Court has approved this event for 1.0 hours of CLE credit!
We are hoping for a high head count as we will all be getting a free, important CLE and Mr. Wegner likes to try to keep as engaged and involved with our group as he can. Simply for space reservation purposes, if you have not done so, could you please let Blake Somers at firstname.lastname@example.org know no later than Tuesday a.m. if you are planning to attend, we would sincerely appreciate it.
On Wednesday April 20, 2016, at 12:15 p.m. our AILA Chapter Members are invited to lunch in Columbus, at Bravo Cucina Italiano, Crosswoods, (614) 888-3881,7470 Vantage Drive, Columbus, OH 43235, where we will have our second “Bring Your Immigration Questions to Lunch to Roundtable With Members” lunch this year. We hope to have a great turnout as we did with our January lunch in Columbus. The venue was a suggestion by Jen Duvall who attended in January. Thanks Jen! Please email your RSVP to Marie Perella Hadden @ email@example.com by Tuesday a.m.
For Cleveland members, and all, please stay tuned to announcements, as the Events Committee together with the Executive Committee plan an event for Cleveland soon to confer the Pro Bono Champion Awards prior to our AILA Convention! A special thank you goes out to Andrew Bramante who has helped Stacy and the Executive Committee with the awards!
